“Four in one” for RZB Lighting at the iF Design Award 2019
Out of thousands of entries in the Product Design category, four of the luminaire ranges made by RZB Rudolf Zimmermann, Bamberg GmbH won over the international jury of experts for the iF Design Award.
In the “Excellent Product Design” segment, the new TWINDOTrange of pendant luminaires won the coveted award for its impressive design attributes, innovative light technology and exceptional light quality.
As “light innovation to the power of 3”, the TRIONA large area luminaire impressed the jury, partly by offering three diameters, three colours and three different diffuser versions. As for the TWINDOT, this range also offers the option of creating circadian patterns of daylight as part of the Human Centric Lighting (HCL) system.
Another winner for 2019 was the graphic inspired WALLSCAPING range of outdoor luminaires, consisting of the TECHNO, CYL, ZONO and NADELSPOT. The innovative Gravolock® system ensures very simple installation and anti-theft protection for genuine added value.
Clear, clever, commanding: last but not least, MINGATA impressed the jury with the considerable benefits of its well-designed interplay between form and function. Thanks to efficient thermal management, the range of outdoor luminaires suitable for top and side mounting on poles needs no visible cooling ribs, scoring points with a flat and therefore low-maintenance top surface.
As an all-rounder for lights and luminaires, RZB Rudolf Zimmermann, Bamberg GmbH has supplied highly efficient products and excellent light quality “Made in Germany” for 80 years now. The Franconian company’s broad portfolio consisting of indoor and outdoor lighting, emergency luminaires and light management systems now comprises more than 20,000 products. Customers and partners clearly benefit from significant energy savings, lower operating costs, high future security and short payback periods.
