Luminaire manufacturer RZB acquires the business operations of shop lighting experts TDX GmbH

RZB Group has agreed an asset deal governing the acquisition of all business operations of Suhl-based TDX GmbH Technisches Licht Design, effective 1 January 2016. TDX GmbH specialises in lighting solutions for shops and projects.

The business is being acquired by RZB-TDX Lighting GmbH, a new wholly-owned subsidiary of RZB Group that has been set up specifically for the purpose. The new company will aim to strengthen RZB's presence in the shop lighting market.

RZB-TDX Lighting GmbH sees itself as a specialist, competent provider of all-inclusive lighting solutions for shop applications. RZB-TDX Lighting GmbH offers lighting solutions for fashion, food and non-food retail space, together with lighting solutions for ancillary areas that even include car park and security lighting. Comprehensive collaborative and qualified customer and project support coupled with rapid deliveries and outstanding flexibility round off a perfect services portfolio.

RZB has been synonymous with extremely efficient product solutions, innovative LED technology and excellent light quality "Made in Germany" for more than 75 years.
